Rear Combination Light Assembly: Disassembly

  1. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT BODY GASKET 
    1. Remove the rear combination light body gasket.
      NOTE:
      • Be sure to remove all the traces of the old gasket from the body.
      • Do not reuse the removed gasket. Be sure to install a new rear combination light body gasket to prevent water ingress.

  2. REMOVE REAR TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB 
    1. Turn the rear turn signal light bulb and the rear light socket and wire in the direction indicated by the arrow and disconnect them as a unit.
    2. Remove the rear turn signal light bulb from the rear light socket and wire.

  3. REMOVE REAR LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE 
    1. Disconnect the connector and remove the rear light socket and wire.

  4. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT LENS AND BODY 
  5. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT BODY GASKET 
    1. Remove the rear combination light body gasket.
      NOTE:
      • Be sure to remove all the traces of the old gasket from the body.
      • Do not reuse the removed gasket. Be sure to install a new rear combination light body gasket to prevent water ingress.

  6. REMOVE BACK UP LIGHT BULB 
    1. Turn the back up light bulb and the rear light socket and wire in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove them as a unit.
    2. Remove the back up light bulb from the rear light socket and wire.

  7. REMOVE REAR LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE 
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the rear light socket and wire.

  8. REMOVE REAR LIGHT LENS
