Inspection Procedure

NOTE: When using the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM) or Techstream with the engine switch off to troubleshoot:
Connect the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM) or Techstream to the vehicle, and turn a courtesy switch on and off at 1.5 second intervals until communication between the tester and vehicle begins.

CLEAR DTC
1. Delete the DTC (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).

CHECK FOR DTC

Check for DTC (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).

Result:

RESULT

DTC U0211, U0246, U1130* and U1131* output occurs	A
DTC U0211, U0246, U1130* or U1131* output occurs	B
No DTC output occurs	C

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER SEAT MODULE SWITCH POSITION CONTROL ECU LH)

Disconnect the r2*1 or S15*2 module switch connectors.
HINT:

*1: w/o Ottoman

*2: w/ Ottoman
Disconnect the f5 ECU connector.

Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance

w/o Ottoman:

REAR POWER SEAT MODULE SWITCH POSITION CONTROL ECU LH RESISTANCE W/O OTTOMAN

NG: GO TO NEXT STEP

CLEAR DTC
1. Reconnect the r2*1 or S15*2 module switch connectors.
  HINT:
  
  *1: w/o Ottoman
  
  *2: w/ Ottoman
2. Delete the DTC (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).

CHECK FOR DTC

Disconnect the f5 ECU connector.

Recheck for DTC (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
