- CHECK DTC
- Check for DTC (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR
).
OK :
DTC B2416 output does not occur.
NG: Go to step 3
OK: NORMAL
- Check for DTC (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR
).
- CHECK VEHICLE SYSTEM
- Check vehicle system.

- Using the intelligent tester or Techstream, read the Data List.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AFS ECU - HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR)
- Disconnect the A37 ECU connector.
- Disconnect the S65 and A4 sensor connectors.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Reconnect the A37 ECU connector.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- INSPECT FRONT HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Connect 3 dry cell batteries (1.5 V) in series.
- Connect the positive (+) lead from the batteries to terminal 3, and the negative (-) lead from the batteries to terminal 1.
- Measure the voltage between terminals 2 and 1 while slowly moving the link up and down.

- INSPECT REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Connect 3 dry cell batteries (1.5 V) in series.
- Connect the positive (+) lead from the batteries to terminal 3, and the negative (-) lead from the batteries to terminal 1.
- Measure the voltage between terminals 2 and 1 while slowly moving the link up and down.
