Inspection Procedure

1. When the master switch assembly's door control switch is operated, check that the locked doors unlock.

   Result 

   POWER DOOR LOCK OPERATION
   
   

   Result	Proceed to
   Door locks operate normally	OK
   Door locks do not operate normally	NG

NG: GO TO POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM (See  POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM   ) 

OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 

1. Using the intelligent tester or Techstream, read the Data List.
   1. Intelligent tester

      D-DOOR (Front door ECU LH) 

      INTELLIGENT TESTER - D-DOOR (FRONT DOOR ECU LH)

      OK: On tester screen, item changes between ON and OFF according to above chart. 

NG: Go to step   4 

OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 

1. Replace the front door ECU LH with a new one or normally functioning one (see INSTALLATION ).
2. Check that the entry function operates normally.

   OK: Operates normally 

NG: REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU 

OK: END (FRONT DOOR ECU LH IS DEFECTIVE) 

1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard resistance 

   FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE LH
   
   

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   b2-3 (TRG+) - b2-1 (TRG-)	ON	Below 1 Ω
   b2-3 (TRG+) - b2-1 (TRG-)	OFF	10 kΩ or higher

NG: REPLACE FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE LH  (See INSTALLATION )

OK: GO TO NEXT STEP

1. Disconnect the b2 handle connector.
2. Disconnect the N10 ECU connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard resistance 

   FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE LH - FRONT DOOR ECU LH
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   b2-3 (TRG+)-N10-20 (TRG+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   b2-3 (TRG+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: GO TO NEXT STEP

1. Disconnect the b2 handle connector.
2. Disconnect the b1 oscillator connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard resistance 

   FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE LH - DOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   b2-1 (TRG-)-b1-9(TRG-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   b2-1 (TRG-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 

1. Replace the door electrical key oscillator with a new one or normally functioning one (see INSTALLATION ).
2. Check that the entry function operates normally.

   OK: Operates normally 

NG: Go to step 8 

OK: END (DOOR ELECTRICAL OSCILLATOR IS DEFECTIVE) 

1. Replace the front door ECU LH with a new one or normally functioning one (see INSTALLATION ).
2. Check that the entry function operates normally.

   OK: Operates normally 

NG: REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU 

OK: END (FRONT DOOR ECU LH IS DEFECTIVE)
