Inspection Procedure
- CHECK POWER DOOR LOCK OPERATION
- When the multiplex network master switch assembly's door control switch is operated, check that the locked doors unlock.
Result

NG: GO TO POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM (See POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM )
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP

- READ VALUE OF INTELLIGENT TESTER OR TECHSTREAM (OUTSIDE HANDLE)
- Using the intelligent tester or Techstream, read the Data List.

OFF: Rear LH side door outside handle lock switch is not pushed- OK: On tester screen, item changes between ON and OFF according to above chart.
- Intelligent tester
NG: Go to step 4
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- Using the intelligent tester or Techstream, read the Data List.
- CHECK REAR DOOR ECU LH (OPERATION)
- Replace the rear door ECU LH with a new one or normally functioning one (see REAR DOOR ).
- Check that the entry function operates normally.
OK: Operates normally
NG: REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU
OK: END (REAR DOOR ECU LH IS DEFECTIVE)
- CHECK REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE LH

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE LHTester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition d1-1 (TRG-)-d1-3 (TRG+) ON Below 1 Ω d1-1 (TRG-)-d1-3 (TRG+) OFF 10 kΩ or higher
NG: REPLACE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE LH (See REAR DOOR )
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE LH - REAR DOOR ECU LH)

- Disconnect the d1 handle connector.
- Disconnect the O14 ECU connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE LH - REAR DOOR ECU LHTester Connection Condition Specified Condition d1-3 (TRG+)- O14-20 (TRG+) Always Below 1 Ω d1-3 (TRG+)-Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP

- Disconnect the d1 handle connector.
- Disconnect the d2 oscillator connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE LH - DOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATORTester Connection Condition Specified Condition d1-1 (TRG-)-d2-9(TRG-) Always Below 1 Ω d1-1 (TRG-)-Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- CHECK DOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR (OPERATION)
- Replace the door electrical key oscillator with a new one or normally functioning one (see REAR DOOR ).
- Check that the entry function operates normally.
OK: Operates normally
NG: Go to step 8
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- CHECK REAR DOOR ECU LH (OPERATION)
- Replace the rear door ECU LH with a new one or normally functioning one (see REAR DOOR ).
- Check that the entry function operates normally.
OK: Operates normally
NG: REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU
OK: END (REAR DOOR ECU LH IS DEFECTIVE)
