Inspection Procedure

1. When the master switch assembly's door control switch is operated, check that the locked doors unlock.

   Result 

   POWER DOOR LOCK OPERATION
   
   

   Result	Proceed to
   Door locks operate normally	OK
   Door locks do not operate normally	NG

NG: GO TO POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM (See  POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM   ) 

OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 

1. Using the intelligent tester or Techstream, read the Data List.
   1. Intelligent tester

      RR-DOOR (Rear door ECU RH) 

      INTELLIGENT TESTER - RR-DOOR (REAR DOOR ECU RH)

      OK: On tester screen, item changes between ON and OFF according to above chart. 

NG: Go to step   4 

OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 

1. Replace the rear door ECU RH with a new one or normally functioning one (see REAR DOOR ).
2. Check that the entry function operates normally.

   OK: Operates normally 

NG: REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU 

OK: END (REAR DOOR ECU RH IS DEFECTIVE)

1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard resistance 

   REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE RH

   c1-3 (TRG+)-d-1 (TRG-)	ON	Below 1 Ω
   c1-3 (TRG+)-d-1 (TRG-)	OFF	10 kΩ or higher

NG: REPLACE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE RH  (See REAR DOOR )

OK: GO TO NEXT STEP

1. Disconnect the d handle connector.
2. Disconnect the O3 ECU connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard resistance 

   REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE RH - REAR DOOR ECU RH
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   d-3 (TRG+)-O3-20 (TRG+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   c1-3 (TRG+)-Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: GO TO NEXT STEP

1. Disconnect the d handle connector.
2. Disconnect the c2 oscillator connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard resistance 

   REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE RH - DOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   d-1 (TRG-)-c2-9 (TRG-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   d-1 (TRG-)-Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 

1. Replace the door electrical key oscillator with a new one or normally functioning one (see REAR DOOR ).
2. Check that the entry function operates normally.

   OK: Operates normally 

NG: Go to step 8 

OK: END (DOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR IS DEFECTIVE) 

1. Replace the rear door ECU RH with a new one or normally functioning one (see REAR DOOR ).
2. Check that the entry function operates normally.

   OK: Operates normally 

NG: REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU 

OK: END (REAR DOOR ECU RH IS DEFECTIVE)
