Inspection Procedure
- CHECK POWER DOOR LOCK OPERATION
- When the master switch assembly's door control switch is operated, check that the locked doors unlock.
Result

NG: GO TO POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM (See POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM )
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP

- READ VALUE OF INTELLIGENT TESTER OR TECHSTREAM (OUTSIDE HANDLE)
- Using the intelligent tester or Techstream, read the Data List.

- Intelligent tester
NG: Go to step 4
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- Using the intelligent tester or Techstream, read the Data List.
- CHECK REAR DOOR ECU RH (OPERATION)
- Replace the rear door ECU RH with a new one or normally functioning one (see REAR DOOR ).
- Check that the entry function operates normally.
OK: Operates normally
NG: REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU
OK: END (REAR DOOR ECU RH IS DEFECTIVE)
- INSPECT REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE RH

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE RHTester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition c1-3 (TRG+)-d-1 (TRG-) ON Below 1 Ω c1-3 (TRG+)-d-1 (TRG-) OFF 10 kΩ or higher
NG: REPLACE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE RH (See REAR DOOR )
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE RH - REAR DOOR ECU RH)

- Disconnect the d handle connector.
- Disconnect the O3 ECU connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE RH - REAR DOOR ECU RHTester Connection Condition Specified Condition d-3 (TRG+)-O3-20 (TRG+) Always Below 1 Ω c1-3 (TRG+)-Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP

- Disconnect the c2 oscillator connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE RH - DOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATORTester Connection Condition Specified Condition d-1 (TRG-)-c2-9 (TRG-) Always Below 1 Ω d-1 (TRG-)-Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- CHECK DOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR (OPERATION)
- Replace the door electrical key oscillator with a new one or normally functioning one (see REAR DOOR ).
- Check that the entry function operates normally.
OK: Operates normally
NG: Go to step 8
OK: END (DOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR IS DEFECTIVE)
- CHECK REAR DOOR ECU RH (OPERATION)
- Replace the rear door ECU RH with a new one or normally functioning one (see REAR DOOR ).
- Check that the entry function operates normally.
OK: Operates normally
NG: REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU
OK: END (REAR DOOR ECU RH IS DEFECTIVE)
