Customize Parameters

  1. CUSTOMIZING FUNCTION WITH INTELLIGENT TESTER OR TECHSTREAM (REFERENCE) 
    NOTE:
    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
    • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
    • When troubleshooting a function, first male sure that the function is set to the default setting.
    1. Connect the intelligent tester or Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the tester on.
    4. Enter the following menus:
      1. Intelligent tester - Select: CUSTOMIZE /
      2. Techstream - Select: Customize Setting /
    5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
      1. Intelligent tester

        WIRELESS D LOCK: 

        INTELLIGENT TESTER - WIRELESS D LOCK REFERENCE

        Display (Item) Default Contents Setting
        HAZARD ANS BACK ON When LOCK switch on transmitter is pressed, this function illuminates hazard warning lights once. When UNLOCK switch is pressed, hazard warning lights illuminate twice ON/OFF
        WIRELESS OPER ON Function that turns wireless door lock function ON or OFF ON/OFF
        OPEN DOOR WARN ON If door is not completely closed and transmitter LOCK switch is pressed, this function makes buzzer sound for 10 seconds ON/OFF
        TRUNK LID OPER 0.8 s PR This function changes transmitter operation method for opening luggage compartment door 1 time/2 times/0.8 s PR/OFF
        ALARM FUNCTION ON Function to operate theft deterrent system by continuously pressing panic switch on transmitter for 2.5 seconds ON/OFF
        UNLOCK/2OPER ON Function that unlocks driver side door when unlock switch on transmitter is pressed once, and unlocks all doors when pressed twice. If setting is OFF, pressing unlock switch once makes all doors unlock. ON/OFF
        AUTO LOCK DELAY 60s Function to change time until relocking after unlocking with wireless door lock function 30s/60s/120s
        WIRLS AUTO LOCK ON This function controls unlocking doors to automatic relocking function ON/OFF

        TECHSTREAM - WIRELESS DOOR LOCK REFERENCE

        Open Door Warning ON If door is not completely closed and transmitter LOCK switch is pressed, this function makes buzzer sound for 10 seconds ON/OFF
        Trunk Lid Operation 0.8 s This function changes transmitter operation method for opening luggage compartment door 1 tim ON/2 tim ON/0.8 s/Prohibit
