Vehicle Security System Deactivation
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Nissan Pathfinder. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
To deactivate the vehicle security system, a door must be unlocked with the key or keyfob.
When the key is used to unlock front door lock assembly LH, ground is supplied
- to BCM terminal 22
- through main power window and door lock/unlock switch terminals 6 and 14
- through front door lock assembly LH (key cylinder switch) terminals 3 and 4
- through grounds M57, M61 and M79.
When the BCM receives either one of these signals or unlock signal from keyfob or key cylinder switch, the vehicle security system is deactivated. (Disarmed phase)
