- INSPECT LIGHT CONTROL SWITCH
- Measure the resistance of the switch.
OK
RESISTANCE CONDITIONTester Connection Switch Position Specified Condition 14 - 16 TAIL Continuity 13 - 14 - 16 HEAD 12 - 16 AUTO 13 - 14 - 16 OFF No continuity If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight dimmer switch assembly.

- Measure the resistance of the relay.
OK
RESISTANCE CONDITIONTester Connection Switch Position Specified Condition D2-5 - D2-3 Always Continuity D2-2 - D2-5 Apply battery positive voltage between terminals D2-1 and D3-3 D3-1 - D3-2 Apply battery positive voltage between terminals D3-3 and D3-4 If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.
