INSPECT HEADLIGHT CONTROL SWITCH

Measure the continuity of the switch.

HEADLIGHT CONTROL SWITCH

Tester Connection	Switch Position	Specified Condition
14 - 16	TAIL	Continuity
13 - 14 - 16	HEAD
12 - 16	AUTO
-	OFF	No continuity

If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight dimmer switch assembly.

INSPECT DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT RELAY

Measure the continuity of the relay.

DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT RELAY

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
D2-2 - D2-3	Always	Continuity
D2-2 - D2-5	Apply battery positive voltage between terminals D2-1 and D3-3
D3-1 - D3-2	Apply battery positive voltage between terminals D3-3 and D3-4

If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.
