Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT FUSE (ACC, ECU-IG1) 
    1. Remove the ACC and ECU-IG1 fuses from the cowl side junction block LH.
    2. Measure the resistance of the fuses.

      Standard resistance: Below 1 Ω 

    • NG: REPLACE FUSE 
    • OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (BODY ECU - BATTERY) 
    1. Remove the body ECU.
    2. Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard voltage 

      BODY ECU - BATTERY

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      10 (SIG) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V
      22 (ACC) - Body ground Ignition switch ACC 10 to 14 V
      • NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
      • OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (BODY ECU - BODY GROUND) 
    • NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    • OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
