Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT FUSE (ECU-B2, DOOR) 
    1. Remove the ECU-B2 fuse from the cowl side junction block LH.
    2. Remove the DOOR fuse from the cowl side junction block RH.
    3. Measure the resistance of the fuses.

      Standard resistance: Below 1 Ω 

    • NG: REPLACE FUSE 
    • OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (BODY ECU - BATTERY) 
    1. Disconnect the 2C and 2Q junction block connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard voltage 

      BODY ECU - BATTERY

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      2Q-22 (BECU) - Body ground 10 to 14 V
      2C-1 (BDR1) - Body ground 10 to 14 V
      • NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
      • OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (BODY ECU - BODY GROUND) 
    • NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    • OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
