Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK CD PLAYER 
    1. Is CD already inserted?

      OK: CD is not inserted in player. 

    • NG: EJECT CD 
    • OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  2. CHECK AUTO SEARCH 
    1. Is auto search button of the radio operating normally?
    • OK: REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY 
    • NG: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  3. INSPECT FUSE (RADIO, ACC) 
    1. Remove the ACC fuse from the cowl side junction block LH.
    2. Remove the RADIO fuse from the cowl side junction block RH.
    3. Measure the resistance of the fuses.

      Standard resistance: Below 1 Ω 

    • NG: REPLACE FUSE 
    • OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  4. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND) 
    • NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    • OK: REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
