Inspection Procedure

INSPECT FUSE (ACC, AMP)
1. Disconnect the AMP fuse from the engine room No. 1 relay block.
2. Disconnect the ACC fuse from the instrument panel junction block.
3. Measure the resistance of the fuses.
  Standard resistance:
  
  Below 1 Ω
  
  NG: REPLACE FUSE
  
  OK: GO to next step

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - BATTERY AND CONNECTOR)

Disconnect the L13, L14 and L15 amplifier connectors.

Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

Standard voltage

STANDARD VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONS

L13-12 (ACC) - Body ground	Ignition switch ACC	10 to 14 V
L15-1 (B) - Body ground	Always	10 to 14 V
L15-5 (+B2) - Body ground	Always	10 to 14 V

Standard resistance

STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS

Tester Connection	Specified Condition
L14-7 (GND2) - Body ground	Below 1 Ω
L14-6 (GND) - Body ground	Below 1 Ω

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
