Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (for Premium Sound Models)

    1. Disconnect the E62 and E76 receiver connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connector.
      RESISTANCE AND VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION CHART

      GND (E62-20) - Body ground BR - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      B (E62-1) - GND (E62-20) L - BR Battery Always 10 to 14 V
      ACC (E62-11) - GND (E62-20) GR - BR ACC power supply Ignition switch OFF Blow 1 V
      ACC (E62-11) - GND (E62-20) GR - BR ACC power supply Ignition switch ACC 10 to 14 V
      +B (E76-5) - GND (F62-20) R - BR Battery Always 10 to 14 V
      GND (E76-14) - Body ground BR - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 V
      ACC (E76-16) - GND (F62-20) GR - BR Accessory (ON) Ignition switch off → ACC Below 1 V → 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the E62 and E76 receiver connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connectors.

      HINT:

      If the result is not as specified, the receiver may have a malfunction.

  2. CHECK RADIO RECEIVER (for Standard Models)

    1. Disconnect the E47 receiver connector.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connector.
      RESISTANCE AND VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION CHART

      If the results is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the E47 receiver connector.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connectors.

  3. CHECK STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER (for Premium Sound Models)

    1. Disconnect the L13, L14 and L15 amplifier connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connectors.

      If the results is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the L13, L14 and L15 amplifier connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connectors.
