Inspection Procedure

CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MULTIPLEX NETWORK SWITCH - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

Disconnect the P21 connector.

Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard voltage

MULTIPLEX NETWORK SWITCH - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND - VOLTAGE

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
P21-12 (BDR) - Body ground	Always	10 to 14 V

Standard resistance

MULTIPLEX NETWORK SWITCH - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND - RESISTANCE

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
P21-7 (GND) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

NG : REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK : PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
