Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT FUSE (ACC, RADIO) 
    1. Remove the ACC fuse from the cowl side junction block LH.
    2. Remove the RADIO fuse from the cowl side junction block RH.
    3. Measure the resistance of the fuses.

      Standard resistance: 

      Below 1 Ω 

    • NG: REPLACE FUSE 
    • OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (NAVIGATION ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the N2 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard resistance 

      NAVIGATION ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND (RESISTANCE)

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      N2-17 (GND) - Body ground Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard voltage 

      NAVIGATION ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND (VOLTAGE)

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      N2-9 (+B) - N2-17 (GND) Always 10 to 14 V
      N2-18 (ACC) - N2-17 (GND) Ignition switch ACC 10 to 14 V

    • NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    • OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
