Inspection Procedure

- Is the condition bad in comparison with other vehicle?
- OK: AN ELECTRIC WAVE ENVIRONMENT IS BAD
- NG: GO TO NEXT STEP
- CHECK ADDITIONAL PART
- Are there any additional installation parts?
(Sunshade film, telephone antenna, etc.)
OK: Additonal(s) installed.
- OK: DEFECT FROM ADDITIONAL PART
- NG: GO TO NEXT STEP
- Are there any additional installation parts?
- CHECK GLASS ANTENNA AND DEFOGGER
- Check if there is any scratch and breaking of a wire on the glass antenna and the defogger pattern.
- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE GLASS ANTENNA AND DEFOGGER
- OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- CHECK RADIO
- Is the contact of the plug jack of the radio receiver OK?
- NG: TAKE A MEASURE FOR CONTACT
- OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- CHECK RADIO (POWER)
- Does the condition get better by using the outer antenna (such as pillar antenna)?
- NG: REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
- OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- CHECK ANTENNA
- Is the contact of the antenna terminal on the glass surface and the defogger terminal?
- NG: TAKE A MEASURE FOR CONTACT
- OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- CHECK ANTENNA CORD
- Is the continuity of the antenna cord OK?
- NG: REPLACE ANTENNA CORD
- OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- CHECK ANTENNA CORD (GROUND)
- Check the grounding of the antenna, antenna cord.
- NG: GROUNDING FAILURE
- OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- REPLACE ANTENNA CORD
- Does the condition get better by replacing the antenna cord?
- OK: ANTENNA CORD FAULTY
- NG: REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
