Inspection Procedure

CHECK WIRE HARNESS (RADIO RECEIVER - STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER)

Disconnect the E62 receiver connector.
Disconnect the L13 amplifier connector.
Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

Standard resistance

STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS

Tester Connection	Specified Condition
E62-7 (MUTE) - L13-1 (MUTE)	Below 1 Ω

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

OK: GO to next step

INSPECT STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY
1. Replace the stereo component amplifier and check if it operates normally.
OK:

The audio system operates normally.

OK: OK (REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY)

NG: REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
