Navigation Voice Speaker Circuit: Wiring Diagram

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION ECU - FRONT STEREO COMPONENT SPEAKER) 
    1. Disconnect the navigation ECU connector N3 and front stereo component speaker connector T11.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Resistance 

      CONNECTOR TERMINAL RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      TWL+ - AUO+ Always Below 1 Ω
      TWL- - AUO- Always Below 1 Ω
      TWL+ - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      TWL- - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK: GO TO NEXT STEP. 

  2. INSPECT FRONT STEREO COMPONENT SPEAKER 
    1. Check that the malfunction disappears when another speaker in good condition is installed.

      OK: Malfunction disappears. 

      HINT:

      • Connect all the connectors to the speakers.
      • When there is a possibility that either the right or left front speaker is defective, inspect by interchanging the right one with the left one.

    OK: REPLACE FRONT STEREO COMPONENT SPEAKER 

    NG: GO TO NEXT STEP. 

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT NO.2 SPEAKER - FRONT STEREO COMPONENT SPEAKER) 
    1. Disconnect the connectors from the front No.2 speaker and front stereo component speaker.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Resistance 

      CONNECTOR TERMINAL RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      T11-1 - F11-2 Always Below 1 Ω
      T11-3 - F11-1 Always Below 1 Ω
      T11-1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      T11-3 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK: GO TO NEXT STEP. 

  4. INSPECT FRONT NO.2 SPEAKER 
    1. Check that the malfunction disappears when another speaker in good condition is installed.

      OK: Malfunction disappears. 

      HINT:

      • Connect all the connectors to the speakers.
      • When there is a possibility that either the right or left front speaker is defective, inspect by interchanging the right one with the left one.

    NG: REPLACE FRONT NO.2 SPEAKER 

    OK: RETURN TO THE ORIGINAL INSPECTION FLOW BECAUSE THE CHECK RESULT IS NORMAL
