DTC B2790-46: ID-BOX Calibration / Parameter Memory Failure [10/2022 - ]: Description

When an internal malfunction occurs in the ID code box (immobilizer code ECU), the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) stores this DTC.

B2790-46 ID-BOX Calibration / Parameter Memory Failure An internal malfunction occurs in the ID code box (immobilizer code ECU) (EEPROM access malfunction) (1 trip detection logic*).
  • ID code box (immobilizer code ECU)
  • Certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly)
 Smart Access A DTC output confirmation operation: 
  1. An immobilizer set/unset operation is performed (the ignition switch is turned off or to ON while the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly is being carried).
  1. *: Only output while a malfunction is present.
VEHICLE CONDITION AND FAIL-SAFE OPERATION WHEN MALFUNCTION DETECTED

  • Ignition switch ON (READY): Hybrid control system cannot be started next time
