Carburetor - HITACHI 2-Bbl: Overhaul: Disassembly: Fwd
- Remove the accelerator pump lever and disconnect choke rod and lead wire from automatic choke heater. Remove air vent solenoid valve, air horn and gasket, float, needle valve and accelerator pump.
- Invert the main body and remove pump return spring, pump injector weight, pump outlet check ball and pump inlet check ball. Remove all jets and air bleeds.
- Note the size and position of all bleeds so they may be installed in correct positions. Remove jets, idle switch, secondary diaphragm and slow fuel cut solenoid valve.
- Remove bolt located between throttle valves and separate throttle body from main body. Do not remove throttle valve and shaft, venturi, choke valve and shaft. Remove mixture adjusting screw after removing spring pin with a drift.
