Air Control Valve

  1. The air control valve (ACV) is located on the air cleaner next to the reed valve assembly. Disconnect the vacuum tube from the air control valve. Run the engine at idle.
  2. Apply intake manifold vacuum to air control valve. Air should be sucked in through the reed valve inlet port of the air cleaner. Volume of air should decrease when manifold vacuum is not applied.
