Single Mirror Does Not Function With Switch Logic
- Check both mirrors for left and right movement. If mirrors operate properly, go to next step. If mirror(s) do not operate properly, go to step 3 .
- Check both mirrors for up and down movement. If mirrors operate properly, system is okay at this time. If mirror(s) does not operate properly, go to step 5 .
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect harness connector of inoperative power mirror assembly. While operating power mirror control switch, measure voltage at right mirror assembly harness connector Dark Green wire terminal or left mirror assembly harness connector Red wire terminal. If voltage is less than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltage is 10 volts or greater, replace faulty mirror assembly. See POWER MIRROR ASSEMBLY under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Retest system for normal operation.
- Disconnect power mirror control switch harness connector. Check power mirror control switch. See POWER MIRROR CONTROL SWITCH under COMPONENT TESTS. If switch is okay, repair Red and/or Dark Green wire as necessary. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If switch is faulty, replace switch. See POWER MIRROR CONTROL SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
