HEATER CORE HOUSING

Removal and Installation

1. Drain the engine coolant. For additional information, see COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING




2. Disconnect the heater hoses from the heater core.
3. Remove the instrument panel.
4. If equipped with A/C, remove the A/C evaporator core housing.




5. Remove the heater core housing.
1. Remove the heater core housing retaining nuts.
2. Carefully remove the heater core housing to avoid spilling engine coolant in the passenger area.

6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
