Keyless Receiver Inspection
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the following parts:
(1)Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) (2)Bass box (With Bose ® ) (See BASS-BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) (3)Sub-trunk (See SUB-TRUNK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) (4)Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) (5)Trunk side trim (RH) (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the keyless receiver with the connector still connected. (See KEYLESS RECEIVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Connect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Verify that the voltages of each of the terminals are as indicated in the terminal voltage table (reference).
- If the voltage is not as specified in the terminal voltage table (reference), inspect the parts under Inspection item (s) and related wiring harnesses.
- If the system does not operate normally even though the parts under Inspection Item (s) and related wiring harnesses do not have any malfunction, replace the keyless receiver.
