Diagnostic Procedure

SECURITY INDICATOR LIGHT: 15, DTC: B13D3:51/P1260:00 [START STOP UNIT] DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	VERIFY IF REMOTE TRANSMITTER BROUGHT INTO VEHICLE IS FOR THAT VEHICLE Does the remote transmitter belong to another vehicle?	Yes	Have the correct transmitter for the vehicle ready inside the vehicle, then go to Step 3.
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	PERFORM DTC INSPECTION AND DETERMINE WHICH KEY HAS MALFUNCTION Perform the following work for each of the programmed remote transmitters: Clear the DTC for the immobilizer system using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [START STOP UNIT] .) Retrieve the immobilizer system DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [START STOP UNIT] .) Is the security indicator light: 15, the same Pending DTC present?	Yes	Replace the malfunctioning remote transmitter, then go to the next step. (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PARTS PROGRAMMING .)
2		No	Go to Step 4.
3	VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED Clear the DTC for the immobilizer system using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [START STOP UNIT] .) Retrieve the immobilizer system DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [START STOP UNIT] .) Is the security indicator light: 15, the same Pending DTC present?	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step 1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the start stop unit. (See START STOP UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) Go to the next step.
3		No	Go to the next step.
4	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [START STOP UNIT] .)
4		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
