Center Panel Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Meter hood cover (See METER HOOD COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Audio panel (See AUDIO PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Passenger-side decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the screws.

  4. Move the center panel in the order of arrows (1), (2), (3), and (4) shown in the figure, and remove it while detaching the clips A, clips B.

  5. Disconnect the hazard switch connector.
  6. Remove the center panel.
  7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
