Rear Oil Seal Replacement: Notes

  1. Remove the transaxle. (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66M-R] (MTX).) (See (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [EW6A-EL] (ATX, 2WD) or AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [EW6AX-EL] (ATX, AWD)
  2. Remove the flywheel (MTX) or drive plate (ATX). (See CLUTCH UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66M-R] (MTX).) (See DRIVE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [EW6A-EL/EW6AX-EL] (ATX) .)
  3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
