Solar Radiation Sensor Inspection (Auto A/C)

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the glove compartment (See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the solar radiation sensor. (See SOLAR RADIATION SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (AUTO A/C) .)
  4. Shine a fluorescent light or expose the solar radiation sensor to natural sunlight.
  5. Connect the positive (+) lead to terminals B and negative (-) lead to terminal A of the solar radiation sensor, and verify that the voltage value is output.
