Liftgate Recess Removal/Installation

  1. While pressing the liftgate recess in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, move the liftgate recess in the direction of arrow (2), and detach the liftgate recess tab from the liftgate.

  2. Remove the trunk lid recess in the direction of the arrow (3) shown in the figure avoiding hooks.
  3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
