Remove/Install Alternator - AR15.40-S-5032EG

Model 447, 448 with engine 274

DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove ground line from battery   AR54.10-S-0003E
2 Remove throttle valve actuator   AR07.70-S-0005EG
3 Remove the poly-V belt from the alternator (G2)   AR13.22-S-1202EG
4 Remove refrigerant compressor and swivel out of working area Model 447 with engine 274
with code HH9 (Air conditioner, automatic heater control)
Model 447, 448 with engine 274
with code HH4 (THERMOTRONIC automatic climate control)
IMPORTANT Do not drain the refrigerant, do not disconnect refrigerant lines.		 AR83.55-S-5310EG
5 Disconnect electrical connection (1)    
6 Remove cover (3)    
7 Remove electrical line (2) from alternator (G2) IMPORTANT To do this, unscrew and remove nut.
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Nut, line to alternator		 *BA15.40-Z-1002-01KOX 
8 Remove screws (4) INSTALLATION NOTES
It is paramount you keep to the tightening sequence of the screws (4).
Damage may occur otherwise.		 AR15.40-S-5032-03EG 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, alternator to timing case *BA15.40-Z-1001-01KOX 
9 Remove alternator (G2)    
10 Modify the guide pulley (5) When replacing alternator (G2).
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, guide pulley to alternator		 *BA13.25-Z-1002-01KEG 
11 Install in the reverse order

ALTERNATOR
