- Check upper transition (4) between rear side window (5) in relation to front door side window (1) with
feeler gauge.
The rear side window (1) must be flush on the upper transition (4) in relation to the front door side window (5).
Transition (4) = ±0.5 mm
If value is not correct

Adjust rear side window (1).
Check
Adjust
- Lower rear side window (1) until nuts (17) are accessible.
- Loosen nuts (17).
- Move rear side window (1) to upper end position again.
- Move rear side window (1) correspondingly until dimensions (c) and (b) are adjusted between the front door side window (5) and rear side window (1) as well as transition (4) between rear side window (1) and front door side window (5).
Dimensions (c) and (b) are identical and correspond to the dimension F57 in the upper table inserted.
Transition (4) must be flush at rear side window (1) in relation to front door (5).
Transition (4) = ± 0.5 mm
The parallelism of dimension (c) and dimension (b) should be max. 0.5 mm.
- Tighten nuts (17)

- Completely lower side window (1) and then move to upper end position.
- Close front door.
- Check dimension (c) and (b) between rear side window (1) and front door side window (5) as well as transition (4) between rear side window (1) and front door side window (5).
If specified check values are not reached.

Repeat adjustment procedure.
- Normalize electric window lifting mechanism.
Actuate button to close rear side window (1) and hold down for approx. 5 s. Then check whether rear side window (1) opens and closes automatically.
