Test 7F - Bus Short To Battery

After each repair, perform TEST VER-1 .
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.- If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short between Violet/Brown and Yellow Red wire.
- If resistance is more than 5 ohms, check resistance between BCM Black connector terminals No. 20 (White/Black wire) and No. 22 (Yellow/Red wire). If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair short between White/Black wire and Yellow/Red wire.
- If resistance is more than 5 ohms, check resistance between BCM Black connector terminals No. 7 (Violet/Brown wire) and No. 23 (Dark Blue/Red wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short between Violet/Brown wire and Dark Blue/Red wire.
- If resistance is more than 5 ohms, check resistance between BCM connector terminals No. 20 (White/Black wire) and No. 23 (Dark Blue/Red wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short between White/Black wire and Dark Blue/Red wire.
- If resistance is more than 5 ohms, ensure BCM connectors are connected. Check resistance between chassis ground and BCM case. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair BCM case ground.
- If resistance is less than 5 ohms, check resistance of BCM Black connector terminal No. 19 (Black/Light Green wire). If resistance is more than 15 ohms, repair open Black/Light Green wire. If resistance is less than 15 ohms, replace BCM.
