Installation (Lancer)
CAUTION:
After connecting quick-connect fitting of fuel high-pressure hose, pull joint in disconnecting direction lightly to check that it is mounted securely and to confirm that there is a play of approximately 0.12" (3 mm) at joint. See Fig 1.
- When installing split rear seat back, place left center hinge bracket of split rear seatback assembly on top of right center hinge bracket of rear seatback assembly. See Fig 2. On all vehicles, press rear seatback side assembly in direction shown and fit attachment wire into hook securely to install rear seatback side assembly. See Fig 3.
- Install rear seat cushion assembly making sure that rear seat cushion fit into rear seat hook securely. See Figure. To complete installation, tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Check for any fuel leaks and repair as necessary.
