Initialization Procedure

Required Special Tools:

MB992744: Vehicle Communication Interface-Lite (V.C.I.-Lite)
MB992745: V.C.I.-Lite Main Harness A
MB992747: V.C.I.-Lite USB Cable Short
MB992748: V.C.I.-Lite USB Cable Long

CAUTION: To prevent damage to the scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), always turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position before connecting or disconnecting the scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE).

After the ignition switch is in "LOCK" (OFF) position, connect scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) to the data link connector.
Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
Select "MFI" from System select Screen of the scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE).
Select "Special Function" from MFI Screen.
Select "Learned value reset" from Special Function Screen.
Select "All learned value" from Learned value reset Screen.
Initialize the learning value by pressing the "OK" button.
After initializing the learning value, the learning value of DFI and MFI engine idling is necessary. Refer to ENGINE IDLING LEARNING PROCEDURE .
