      • Inspect the RDM for hydraulic fluid leaks and repair as necessary in accordance with the Service Information.
      • Perform the DTCM VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to DTCM VERIFICATION TEST .
  4. CHECK FOR AIR IN THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
    NOTE:

Air in the hydraulic system can also cause this DTC to set. A scan tool is required to bleed the hydraulic system.

    1. Perform the hydraulic fluid bleed procedure. Refer to FLUID, HYDRAULIC, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
    2. If air in the hydraulic system was suspected, inspect the hydraulic system for conditions that could cause air in the system and repair as necessary.

      Were any problems found?

      Yes

      • Repair and bleed the hydraulic system as necessary in accordance with the Service Information.
      • Perform the DTCM VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to DTCM VERIFICATION TEST .

      No

      • Go To  5
  5. CHECK FOR LOW HYDRAULIC PRESSURE AND INTERNAL LEAKS
    1. Remove the RDM Hydraulic Pump Motor in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MOTOR, PUMP, REMOVAL .
    2. Inspect the RDM Hydraulic pump and associated components for conditions that would cause low hydraulic pressure.

      Were any problems found?

      Yes

      • Repair the condition that caused the low RDM hydraulic pressure as necessary.
      • Perform the DTCM VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to DTCM VERIFICATION TEST .

      No

      • Go To  6
  6. REPLACE THE RDM HYDRAULIC PUMP MOTOR AND CHECK FOR THE DTC TO RETURN
