DTC P0AEE: IGBT temperature sensor fails (range): Diagnosis
- STEP 1. Check the high-voltage terminal. CAUTION: Carry out the check on the high-voltage circuit while reading carefully the precautions on handling a high-voltage vehicle (Refer to PRECAUTIONS ON HOW TO USE THE HIGH-VOLTAGE VEHICLE ).CAUTION: Wear the specified protection equipment during the check.
- Shut down the high voltage (Refer to Service plug and service lid removal steps ).
- Check that the following cable is tightened to the specified torque.
- Front motor cable connection (Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION <FRONT> ).
Q: Is the check result normal?
YES: Replace the power drive unit (Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION <FRONT> ). Then go to Step 2.
NO: Tighten the front motor cable to the specified torque (Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION <FRONT> ). Then go to Step 2.
- STEP 2. Test the OBD-II drive cycle.
- Carry out a test drive with the drive cycle pattern. Refer to Diagnostic Function - OBD-II Drive Cycle - PATTERN 5 .
- Check the DTC.
Q: Is the DTC set?
YES: Retry the troubleshooting.
NO: The inspection is complete.
