<<A>> Steering Column Shaft Assembly Removal
- Ensure that the tilt and telescopic steering lever is in the lock position.
- Remove the steering column shaft assembly mounting bolt.CAUTION:
- Hold the motor as shown in the illustration because improper installation may result when the jacket assembly comes off or turns.
- Do not apply any load to the harness because an open circuit may occur.
- Do not release the tilt and telescopic steering lever lock because the jacket assembly may come off.
- Do not subject separation capsule to any shocks because the collision energy absorbing mechanism may not work normally or the steering column shaft may fall down after installing.
- Remove the steering column shaft assembly.
