- Shift the selector lever to P position.
- Use a jumper wire to connect terminal No. 5 of the selector lever assembly connector to the battery (+) terminal, terminal No. 6 to the battery (-) terminal. Then apply battery positive voltage.
- Check for continuity between the selector lever assembly connector terminals No. 4 and No. 5.
