Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK KEYLESS OPERATION KEY SYSTEM (REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY FUNCTION) 

    Press the LOCK button of Keyless operation key.

    Are all doors LOCKED? 

    YES >>

    GO TO  2.

    NO >>

    Check Keyless operation key system (remote keyless entry function). Refer to SYSTEM DESCRIPTION .

  2. CHECK HOOD SWITCH 

    Check hood switch. Refer to COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK .

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES >>

    GO TO  3.

    NO >>

    Replace hood lock assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. REPLACE BCM 

    Replace BCM. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES >>

    INSPECTION END

    NO >>

    Check intermittent incident. Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .
