DTC Confirmation Test

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Nissan Pathfinder. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: Before proceeding, ensure battery voltage is more than 10 volts with engine on. If DTC confirmation procedure had been previously run, turn ignition off and wait at least 10 seconds before continuing.

Turn ignition on. Select DATA MONITOR mode. Start engine and let it idle for one second. If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE . If 1st trip DTC is not detected, system is okay at this time.
