Center Airbag Sensor Assembly: Installation

INSTALL CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY
1. Install the airbag sensor with the 3 bolts.
  Torque: 17.5 N*m (179 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf)
  NOTE:
  - If the airbag sensor has been dropped, or there are any cracks, dents or other defects in the case, bracket or connector, replace it with a new one.
  - When installing the airbag sensor, be careful that the SRS wiring does not interfere with other parts and that it is not pinched between other parts.

2. Connect the airbag sensor connectors.
INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL CONSOLE UPPER REAR PANEL SUBASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE UPPER PANEL ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (Manual Transaxle) (See INSTALLATION )
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
PERFORM INITIALIZATION
1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
1. Check the SRS warning light (see DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM ).
