Component Inspection

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect electric throttle control actuator harness connector.
3. Check resistance between electric throttle control actuator terminals as per the following.

   Electric throttle control actuator		Resistance (Ohm)
   Bank	Terminals
   1	1 and 2	Approx. 1 - 15 [at 25 deg. C (77 deg. F)]
   2	5 and 6

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

INSPECTION END

NO

GO TO 2.

Replace malfunctioning electric throttle control actuator. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD COLLECTOR : Exploded View .
