ECM Re-Communicating Function: Description

Performing the following procedure can automatically activate re-communication of ECM and BCM, but only when the ECM is replaced with a new one*. For details, refer to SPECIAL REPAIR REQUIREMENT .

*: New one means a virgin ECM that is never energized on-board.

(In this step, initialization procedure by CONSULT is not necessary)

NOTE:
  • If multiple keys are attached to the key holder, separate them before beginning work. 
  • Distinguish keys with unregistered key IDs from those with registered IDs.
