Removal and Installation: Removal
CAUTION:
- Perform ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING ECM. Refer to Description .
- When replacing the ECM, a new ECM must be used. The functions controlled by the ECM do not operate properly if a ECM from another vehicle is used.
- Disconnect the battery negative terminal. Refer to Removal and Installation .
- Remove the air inlet duct. Refer to Removal and Installation .
- Remove the resonator. Refer to Exploded View .
- Disconnect the harness connectors from ECM.
- Remove ECM nuts, and then remove ECM and ECM front cover.
- Remove the ECM rear cover (if necessary).
