Window Switch Operation

When the Ignition Switch is in RUN, battery voltage is applied to the window switches through the circuit breaker (Coupe), the Left Master Switch Assembly (Sedan), and the PNK wires to the switches. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .

When the UP switch in the Right Front Window Switch is operated, battery voltage is applied to the Right Front Window Motor through the DK BLU wire. The motor is grounded through the BRN wire and DOWN contact in the Right Front Window Switch Assembly, TAN wire, and the DOWN contact in the Left Master Switch Assembly. The motor runs to drive the window up.

When the DOWN Switch is operated, battery voltage is applied to the Right Front Window Motor in the opposite direction through the BRN wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . The Motor is grounded through the DK BLU wire, the UP contact in the Right Front Window Switch Assembly, the DK BLU/WHT wire, and the UP contact in the Left Master Switch Assembly. The motor runs to drive the window down. The other windows operate similarly from their individual window switches.
