Checking Idle Mixture

  1. Remove hose to heated air sensor from 3-way vacuum hose connector and install propane supply hose in its place. Open propane main valve. Meter propane until maximum RPM is reached.
  2. Engine speed should increase by 25-125 RPM. If engine speed is okay, proceed to next test. If engine speed increase is not okay, adjust according to propane assisted idle set procedure.
