Evaporative Control: Notes

Evaporative emission control system prevents fuel system vapors from entering atmosphere. When fuel tank is filled with fuel vapors generated inside fuel tank, overfill limiter valve opens, and vapors pass through charcoal canister. Fuel vapors accumulated in charcoal canister are sent to intake manifold to burn.
