Clearing Codes

When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES

Diagnostic codes can be cleared by disconnecting battery terminals. To clear codes without disconnecting battery terminals, turn ignition switch to ON position. Turn CRUISE switch and SET switch on. Within one second, turn RESUME switch on. Codes are now cleared.
